NOODs didn’t go so great. Right after the start of the third race on Friday had a port/starboard coming together with Wise Asp, the red Anacortes boat. The result was as pictured. I was on starboard until I tacked to try to avoid him as I was apparently invisible at the time, but unfortunately right as the soft underbelly of Dragonfly became exposed, Wise Asp decided attempting a duck was the thing to do which just increased the damage. Owner was appropriately contrite afterwards, but my regatta was over then and there. Still working out when and where of repair.
