First published in 1983, this soft cover book is still the best on the local climate. There is general information about weather fronts, cloud identification photos, and the like. All with a local slant. But the strength of this book is local, Puget Sound, weather, like an explanation of the convergence zone or how our winds vary with the seasons. And climate information like, tables of average seasonal winds, or average monthly water temperature, or the average annual rainfall, all at various locations, or ... but see for yourself. Do not forget about the Appendices.
If you are interested in the topic, this is a must read.
Marine Weather of Western Washington was written by Kenneth E. Lilly Jr. Commander, NOAA. It was published by Starpath. It can be found in the local library, though it is a good book to own. Assuming you can find a copy.
