For those of you who know us, Bryon Dahl and Maria Chiechi, and those of you who do not but have seen us at the meetings and not out on the water very often this is why: We purchased a Bristol Channel Cutter in July 2007. We hauled her out in January 2008 and have been on a re-fit program since then. We were not planning on taking her apart as far as we did, but every time we took something apart, we looked further and found items that would end up being a problem later. We are on a plan to take her cruising and there is just not enough time and money to make it happen any faster! If you ask me, I say she will be back in the water before the end of the year. If you ask Bryon, he says this time next year we will be back in the water, doing our shake down cruises and on our way to Palau when the time is right. We welcome friends to come take a look at our project as Bryon is always bending other boat people’s ears on knowledge and ideas.
