The Tacoma Women’s Sailing Association is pleased to invite women associated with the South Sound Sailing Society to participate in this year’s sailing classes. This is the perfect class for women who own, or want to own sailboats, and wives or partners of sailors to gain basic knowledge and experience so you can serve as a better crew member. Any woman who wants to learn to sail is invited.
We are working to organize three boats of students out of Olympia. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00pm beginning April 12th and ending May 24th. Instruction will be provided by qualified instructors, and the ASA Basic Keelboat manual will serve as a “textbook”. The cost for the class is $195.00 which includes a $35 membership fee required by our insurance. All participants must upload proof of vaccine plus booster.
