Hey Toliva Racers — we want you to come to the meeting next Tuesday, March 13th, and tell us your stories! The board is only going to make a minimum of announcements and then we’ll spend the first hour hearing from you and letting people ask questions. Jim Larson is also making a great slideshow of all the photos and video taken to accompany the discussion.

What Goes Up Stays Up, If …
If you take care of your rigging! Learn about the different levels of rigging and mast inspections, mast standing, mast de-tuned, or mast down, at our March 13 gMeeting. Member Jason Vannice, Aloft Marine, will be our speaker. Jason will explain how to perform your own deck-level inspection.
Jason will also describe what to look for, and common areas of failure in, wire, rod, and synthetic rigging and spars. He will review recommended maintenance intervals for furlers, cars, winches, and general corrosion prevention.

Parking: Only members of OYC can park in the lot directly in front of the OYC building. There is ample parking along the nearby streets and in the city parking lot across the street, both of which are free after 5:00 PM.
